Please note that if verification of enrollment is needed, this is done by the Registrar’s Office. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain this verification.

The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship supports academically outstanding students who are the first in their families to attend college and demonstrate a financial need. The scholarship, which provides $5,000 per year in addition to the HOPE Scholarship, is renewable for an additional three years if the recipients maintain certain academic standards. The Coca-Cola Foundation has funded the scholarship to 139 University of Georgia students since 2007.

Scholarships are a form of aid that assists students with paying for their education. Scholarships do not have to be repaid. Generally, scholarships are awarded to students with special qualifications, such as academic talent or financial need. Scholarships may be set up to support a specific type of work like community service or support an under-represented group of students.
Columbus State Community College offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for students. Scholarships are available to recent high school graduates, new students, current students and returning students. Columbus State Community College students also receive a wide variety of scholarships from external donors and outside resources.

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) – Southern Regional Chapter (SRC) is pleased to announce a new scholarship program in honor and recognition of 1.6 million American Veterans who served in the Korean War during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950 – January 31, 1955). These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded.
To express our gratitude to these Veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-SRC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-SRC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success.

The Georgia Military Service Scholarship is worth about $85,000 over four years!
The State of Georgia funds 42 full scholarships per year to Georgia high school seniors who agree to enlist in the Georgia Army National Guard, attend the University of North Georgia, participate in the Corps of Cadets, and commission as officers in the Georgia Army National Guard after graduating with their bachelor's degrees.

Watson Brown Foundation Scholarship

Veterans of Foreign Affairs Scholarship
The VFW is dedicated to promoting patriotism and investing in our future generation. If you are a democracy-loving high school student interested in a $35,000 college scholarship or a patriotic middle school student interested in winning $5,000, these scholarships may be for you.
Requirements: Essay on a specific topic. Voice of Democracy audio-essay program provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.

JRF Scholars receive college scholarships of up to $35,000 over four years & are financially sponsored to attend JRF‘s annual, four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference“ in New York City and other events throughout the year.

HYPE's Leadership Academy registration ends SUNDAY, September 7!! The HYPE Leadership Academy is an opportunity for girls interested in STEAM futures to further establish themselves as a leader and as a career-ready student through our virtual College and Career Readiness workshops facilitated by the amazing team at WrightNow Solutions. Ladies in 10th-12th grade are encouraged to apply. Here are a few additional details about the program: The HYPE Leadership Academy launches with orientation on Tuesday, September 9th. Live virtual sessions will be held every other Tuesday, beginning September 16th. The entire program runs through May when 2025-2026 Leaders will graduate. Sessions include access to professional mentors and corporate exposure workshops including topics such as:
- Resume Writing and Interviewing
- Being The Only
- Bold Leadership/Personal Branding
- Workplace Etiquette and Norms
- Time Management
- Resume Review from working professionals
- Mock Interview sessions to prepare for internship interviews
Students who complete the program will be able to interview for summer internships and/or work-based learning opportunities with HYPE’s corporate partners. Students must be able to demonstrate previous STEAM experience through participation in a HYPE Coding Program or similar equivalent, member of the STE(A)M Pathway at their school, member of a tech extracurricular program at their school (i.e. Technology Student Association, Robotics Club, NSBE, Engineering/Science Club, Girls Who Code Club, etc), or previously taken a Computer Science, Digital Technology, or course equivalent.

- The Coke Scholars Application closes Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 5pm Eastern.
- Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
- Students need to be graduating high school during the 2025-2026 school year, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and to complete an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcript by September 30, 2025, at 5 p.m. Eastern.
