Converting Flipcharts to Classflow Lessons
Have you had problems converting your ActiveInspire flipcharts to use as ClassFlow Lessons? If so, this bit of news is for you.
I am sure most of you are aware the software ActivInspire, from the Promethean people, is in the process of moving to a new interface software.
The interface software you use now is ActivInspire.
The new software is ClassFlow.
These two softwares are by different authors and are uniquely different in their features and interface.
If you have already begun the transition to ClassFlow, you may notice difficulty getting activInspire flipcharts to open. This is because they must be converted to ClassFlow files.
PrometheanSupport was offering a conversion service for ActivInspire flipcharts. You could send them your flipcharts and they would convert them and send them back to you. This service has been discontinued according to the folks at Promethean Planet.
Instead, ClassFlow offers a converter built into the ClassFlow software. The converter will not work automatically. You must go to the converter, initiate the conversion, and save the new file. The converter will not be offered forever, it will be taken down at some point. See The following announcement Promethean World published August 31, 2017.
