Prom 2021 - Information
Moonlight Masquerade - A Night Under the Stars
Due to COVID restrictions, all attendees must abide by CDC guidelines and safety protocols, including but not limited to the wearing of masks, complying with temperature checks, following social distancing, utilizing hand sanitizing stations, etc.
The following information outlines the policies and procedures relating to Burke County High School’s 2021 Grand March and Prom. Please understand that Prom is a privilege—not a right, and these measures are in place to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Curfew - Georgia law regarding a student with a Class D license states that it is illegal to be on the road from 12 midnight to 6 AM. It also states that if you are the driver, you cannot have more than three passengers in the vehicle who are not members of the immediate family or are less than 20 years old. Also, if you received your license within the last six months, it is illegal to have anyone in the vehicle who is not an immediate member of your family. Please be mindful of these driving regulations on prom night.
