we stand for the pledge anime good morning Burke County Today is Monday November 11th 2019 my name is Connor Lively and my name is James Sanders and you're watching the news teacher do you have any students funny teacher or any other school staff member you'd like to thank for the positive influence make sure that you nominate them fukuto the nomination box located in front of the media center in a weekly prize drawing will be conducted teachers please make sure that you are nominating students kudos to our next junior senior Club 4H meeting will be held on Wednesday November 13th from 4 to 5 at the Burke County Office Park this meeting is open to all 6th through 12th graders and there is no membership I need to join police an officer contact the Burke County 4-H office for more information science club is holding a raffle for one free Huddle House meal month for one year so purchase one from a member of the Day raffle tickets are $1 and last Thursday we had day two of our GA apply to college day we had 10 students to my applications making a date total of 18 years we encourage you to apply and teachers share experiences with college with your students there are many universities saving their application fees this month we would like to extend a huge thanks to Miss Jordan Miss wonderly Miss Hurst Miss bridges for their service for the services they offered remember Tech schools or colleges to sign up with one of your local schools or broaden your horizons and try one in another part of the state at Bear watch we want you to be successful and you're wondering Monday once and weather is checkout Preston and Keegan for both good morning Brooke County my name is Keegan today's Monday I hope you enjoyed your weekend and here is your lunch today hey you're having for your entree ham and hashbrown casserole with cornbread muffin manager's Choice turkey and cheese whole wheat wrap with lettuce and ranch dressing packet salad and a Lunchable Florida's fresh seasonal fruit or vegetable broccoli Normandy black eyed peas and cabbage and of course your dessert is a cookie and your drink is assorted milk and you know what they say you have not answered my question security wait don't know now for your weather good morning Brooke County here is your weather and your three day forecast on Monday it's going to be partly sunny that beautiful high of 74 and a low of 54 on Tuesday it'll be cooler with tears of rain 59th North 29th down Wednesday this will be a little cooler with some what's up with some sign and a high of 50 no lower 30 have a beautiful rest of the day Beta Club is having a canned food drive for local food pantries and Thanksgiving meals if you are interested in helping in this service project for your donations to room 109 by November 15th once a real airpods not fake when is your favorite Winnie case you donate also teachers and students have the opportunity to win a 32-inch TV if you donate 30 or more cans first service project allocate in the front office will have a Veterans Day Pro game today to show support for military veterans and now here's a video Kleberg County students today we are here to talk about our upcoming Veterans Day presentation this presentation pays homage to all the people who have served our country both alive and dead it is our way to show our respects to the men and women who have put their lives on the line for both the sanctity of the Free World and all the rights we share As Americans the decision to serve is one that many people don't and Austin veterans are disrespected and forgotten in our society and for those reasons I'd love to take a moment and notice all of our Burke County High School veterans to these men and women having means being part of something bigger than themselves and it is important that we pay attention and give respect to individuals who sacrifice their own time and even life for our rights so please if you see a veteran at any time and thank them for their service it means more than you think attention students deadline to register for dual enrollment for spring semester is Friday November 22nd be sure you have met with your counselor I have your paperwork completed prior to this date thank you for watching the bear watch news where we are hashtag Bayer built and remember we are committed respectful and successful have a great day Big Girls Don't Cry
