Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Kimberly Davis, and I am thrilled to welcome you to our classroom community! I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Liberal Arts degree, concentrating in History, and from Augusta State University with a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Secondary History. Ever since my first day as a student in Kindergarten, I have known that teaching is my true calling.
I am blessed to be married to my college sweetheart, and together we have four wonderful children. As mostly boy parents (1 daughter, 3 sons), there's never a dull moment in our home🤣💜
My passion for teaching high school social studies stems from my belief in the power of social, economic, and civic education to shape the future leaders of our country. I am dedicated to making U.S. History and Economics not only rigorous but also engaging and supportive. I will be here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.
I am excited to work closely with both parents and students this year. Effective communication and collaboration are essential, and all the information you need to contact me and find resources will be available on this webpage and through Google Classroom.
