Hello Bears, and thank you for visiting my page!

Just a little about me, I love teaching Spanish! I graduated from Georgia Regents University in 2013. I studied Spanish at the University of Salamanca in Spain for one Summer. I am from Kino Bay, Mexico. I have two kids who are proudly serving the Armed Forces. My oldest son is in the US NAVY and stationed in Japan. My youngest son is in the US AIR FORCE and currently stationed in California. We enjoy traveling.

Here, we celebrate the beauty of the Spanish language and the diverse cultures that speak it. My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to communicate with confidence, explore new perspectives, and truly enjoy the journey of learning Spanish.

On this site, you’ll find helpful resources, classroom updates, and activities designed to support your growth as a language learner while discovering the richness of Spanish-speaking traditions.

I’m excited to share this learning adventure with you and look forward to making Spanish a fun, meaningful, and rewarding experience for all!

Sra. Nidia Oglesby
