Hello, my name is Gary Randolph and I am excited to return to Burke County Highschool as a first year teacher after graduating from Georgia Southern University. I will be teaching World History to the upcoming freshmen this year. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to email me or call the school.
 
Course Description:

The high school world history course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in world history. Students begin with a study of the earliest civilizations worldwide and continue to examine major developments and themes in all regions of the world. The course culminates in a study of change and continuity and globalization at the beginning of the 21st century.

2nd Block: 9:30 - 11:05
3rd Block: 11:10 - 12:45
4th Block: 1:15 - 2:50
 
Supplies Needed: 3-ring binder with lined notebook paper, pens(blue or black ink), pencils, and earbuds that plug into or connect to Chromebook
 
If work is NOT turned in on time then the late work policy will apply
Day #1 - 10% 
Day #2 - 20%
Day #3 - Zero in the Grade book with no opportunity for make ups
 
Tutoring Times: Mondays and Wednesdays afterschool from 3:15-4:15
***It is the students responsibility to ask for additional help, I must be notified at least 24 hours in advance if a student plans on staying***
 
***Phone Policy***: Phones are not allowed in my class, they will be collected at the beginning of each class and returned at the end of class.
 
 
Here we use GROWL to guide students at BCHS and to prepare students for life after high school.
