Mrs. A. Riley
Mrs. Andrea Geneva Riley is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Thomas Walter Josey High School in Augusta, Georgia, and went on to pursue her collegiate studies at Paine College, Albany State University; where she received her B.S. in Biology, Kennesaw State University; B.S. in Chemistry, and Central Michigan University; M.Ed. in Instruction (Magna Cum Laude). She also studied at Life University in the School of Chiropractic Medicine for 3 years. Mrs. Riley played various sports during high school and college, which included basketball, tennis, track and field, and softball. She was a member of Albany State University’s Concert Chorale and Gospel Choir, which the choir toured many European cities.
Mrs. Riley has worked as an adjunct professor at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia teaching Anatomy and Physiology. She has been an educator for over 20 years as a Science teacher. She has volunteered as a Statistician and Bookkeeper for Varsity football, JV, and Varsity Basketball. She has worked as an announcer for football games, track meets, and various activities around school and in the community. She has coached basketball, competitive cheerleading, tennis, track and field, and advised photography for the yearbook.
She is a Level 3/ WA Level 5 certified USATF (United States Track and Field) coach, serves as a Level 1 Instructor, and is a Level 1 USA Weight Lifting coach. Mrs. Riley is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Zeta Xi Omega Chapter. She is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Mrs. Riley loves crafting, photography, reading, and lawn care,
Mrs. Riley is the proud wife of Deacon Tyson O. Riley, Sr. They have 4 children, Tyson Omar Riley, II (2x SWAC Track and Field Champion/ Indoor and Outdoor) graduating Senior, Alabama State University, Geneva C. Riley (Howard University, Sophomore), Olivia G. Riley (Senior BCHS), and Noah L. Riley(Junior, BCHS)
