Welcome to Burke County High School! I hope you all had a great summer.
 
Welcome to my website as well. My name is Montana Cagle and I will be teaching your child this year. I am looking forward to working closely with you this year. I want you to know a little about me and important information about this course. 
 
This is my first year teaching, I just graduated from Paine College in May 2024 with undergraduate degree in Biology. I also played softball for Paine College for five years!

1st Block: Environmental Science
2nd Block: Planning 
3rd Block: Environmental Science
4th Block: Environmental Science
 
Tutoring is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
 
Do not forget to sign up for Parent Portal to monitor your child's grades. Contact the front office to complete this task.

Each student will be asked to join my Google Classroom for their assigned class. They will be given a syllabus with more information on what this entails. As the parent or guardian, you are more than welcome to join as well to know that is going on a daily basis. I update this daily with what we do along with every handout we use. 
 
I hope we have a great year together learning science! :)

- This is my VERY first year teaching!
- I am from North Augusta, SC. 
- I have a pug named Otis, he is basically my child.
- I am the assistant pitching coach for the Lady Bears Softball Team!
- I can eat cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
