Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Ms. Vandenbulcke, and I teach English Literature & Composition I and II here at Burke County High School. In my class, students learn to think clearly, read with intention, and express themselves in writing. We work through meaningful stories, real-world topics, and skills that will follow them long after high school.

I’m big on building genuine connections with my students. I want them to feel comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and trying their best; even when the work gets tough. Whether we’re breaking down a text, talking through a theme, or improving a paragraph, I aim to make learning feel honest, practical, and worth their time.
