Welcome to Burke County High School!

Welcome Parents and Students,

My name is Candace Green and I will have the pleasure of  working with you for Math and Social Studies. This will be my 9th year as a classroom teacher, and I am excited about teaching and getting to know you this school year whether it be virtually or in person.
I have high expectations for my students and I will do all that I can to help them achieve those expectations. Over the years, I have become very aware of the impact teachers can have on the lives of their students. I have always been a supporter of frequent home-school communication, and teacher-student communication. It is my hope that this will be the basis for a great deal of dialogue and communication between us.
