A Holiday Sock Drive sponsored by the Alumni Association at Savannah State University and the women's ministry at Trinity CME Church will be held on December 11, 2021, from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. Last year we were able to collect over 3000 pairs of socks that were donated to Brentwood Nursing Home in Waynesboro, GA., The Hope House off Highland Avenue in Augusta, GA., and The Homeless Shelter on Fenwick Street in Augusta, GA. We would like to be able to donate again to those agencies. It was through the hard work of several IB (International Baccalaureate) students that we were able to attain the number of socks collected. Not only did they provide a necessity for many who received the generous donations, but the students gained IB Service Hours too, which helps them meet the requirements of the rigorous IB curriculum. so, this collaboration is a win, win for all involved! I would like to ask for your support again in this endeavor.
