Students will complete their first interpersonal speaking task and must demonstrate their ability to speak Spanish that they have learned from week 1 and week 2. Students cannot read from a paper. Students who have practiced in their groups will be prepared. Review Lesson 1.4 Start here to prepare for the assessment. If you can have a basic conversation in Spanish, this is what I am looking for. Detailed information is found in the syllabus if you are still confused.

Instructions:
1. Students will check their email for --> CONTACT TIME: Interpersonal Speak Task #1 students will see what time they are expected to meet on test dates with their group mates. Please contact your group and practice speaking and completing tasks before the test date. You may also check the attached contact time groups.

2. Students will go to the Google Classroom and click on the Meet link to begin contact times for test dates. Students must be on time.

3. Student groups will be asked various questions. I will then assess how each student communicates in the group using my rubric.

Students will be assigned to virtual groups of 3-4 students. The instructor will ask the students questions and/or assess the students' Spanish every other week. The conversation will be assessed using a speaking rubric. The use of English during the assessment will cause students to receive low scores. The use of only Spanish will cause students to receive high scores.

Each group is required to review the Spanish lessons every Friday. In these groups, students will practice speaking Spanish we learned that week. Students who practice with their groups on Fridays will be successful.
