My name is Sheila Dunn Hudson. This is my nineteenth year at THE Burke County High School.

As an instructor, I envision my class as a place where students can learn, where teachers can teach, and where everyone is committed to excellence. My mission as an instructor is to insure that each child in my class receives a quality education. I cannot accomplish this mission alone. Parent’s teachers, students, staff, administrators, and community members, share in this responsibility. It does take a village to raise a child.

Personal integrity is the basis for effective leadership therefore I believe in leading by example by showing fairness, honesty and respect for all. I will make every effect to keep my word and treat people fairly, with respect for diversity and the rights of each individual.
