Governor's Honors Program (GHP)

The Governor's Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented rising juniors and seniors.  Students must be nominated in a specific area and participate in an extensive application and interview process.  If selected at the state level, participants will spend four weeks at Berry College in Rome, GA.  They will attend classes, dine, and reside on the campus during the duration of the program.

The 2016 GHP was held on the campus of Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Georgia.  2016 was the last year VSU hosted the program.
2017 GHP Alumni -- Mary Beth Mallard, Agricultural Science
 
2017 was the first year Berry College in Rome, Georgia hosted the Governor's Honors Program.
