Honors Physical Science

Course Description

Physical Science is a class which is composed of equal parts Physics and Chemistry. Topics includes motion of objects, heat and energy transfer, electricity, chemical reactions, periodic table, bonding, compound naming, and others. This class is driven by student inquiry, and has a large component of hands-on exploration and experimentation where students form their own questions and set out to answer them. This class concludes with an end of course exam which is a required component of Georgia's graduation requirements.
