I am excited about this opportunity to expand my experiences here at BCHS!  I am also excited about what the future holds for me and my ability to support even more students each and every day at BCHS!!  I will forever have a passion for helping people and ALL things HEALTHCARE!! 
 
Ever since I can really remember, I always wanted to be a healthcare professional.  When I was younger I wasn't sure which profession, but I knew that I wanted to help people.  In high school I took healthcare courses in order to get a head start in the profession, and the rest is history (sort of).  I obtained my bachelor's degree in Nursing.  During my final clinical rotation, in L&D, after conducting my first independent, in depth patient-teaching activity, I realized how much I really enjoyed & felt true joy in helping my patients learn how to care for themselves.  Once I started my first position in nursing I guided myself to a position that would provide the opportunity for that gift to flourish.  I have done bedside nursing as well as teaching & they both bring me so much joy!!  The greatest gift ever has been the ability to work with amazing patients, their families and students whose desire is to save & touch lives as a healthcare professional.  This is where I know God has called me to be. I can't wait to share this gift with you!
