Victoria Jackson-Price has been teaching since 1981. She graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in 1976 and from UGA in 1981. She taught English and drama at Waynesboro High School before establishing the theatre program at Burke County High School. She has directed many productions in Burke County. Among her favorites are "The Miracle Worker," "Picnic," "Grease," "The Diary of Anne Frank," and "Oklahoma!"
Theatre students are expected to learn about all aspects of theatre work, from acting to technical work. They will learn and perform memorized selections, usually monologues and scenes. They should expect to perform in at least public performance, such as the night of one acts in the fall or the spring musical. They should bring to class a willingness to stretch themselves in new directions of performance.

Tutorials: Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7:15 and 7:45 in the mornings or from 3:00 to 3:30 in the afternoons, except on rehearsal days. Please make an appointment prior to staying and arrange for transportation.
Supplies for actor: a composition notebook. a ring binder, pencils, highlighters, and comfortable clothing.
