Course Outline:

This course is designed  to help you hone in on your critical thinking skills and allow you to become a better writer. We will write essays using MLA format regularly from various points of view, so that you will be prepared for your college courses. You will gain a better understanding of the rhetoric used around you through the close reading and analysis of novels, short stories, poems, and essays. Throughout this course, my hope is that you will realize that no new story has been written, and we can relate to classic literature and appreciate its place in our current lives.
