Jones, Joseph » Agriculture

Hi! My name is Joseph Jones, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, and a first year teacher here at Burke County High School. I will be teaching several courses that will teach students about the fundamentals of the agricultural industry and dive into several key sectors of the industry and explore career opportunities, as well as practice employability and leadership skills. I will also serve as the advisor for the high school FFA chapter. FFA membership is a requirement of the course due to Senate Bill 330. This opens the opportunity for students to explore new interests through contests, projects, experiential learning, and field trips. I look forward to working with students this year, and am ready for a great year in ag!
