Welcome to my page! I am Mr. George Edwards. I will be teaching the Introduction to Digital Technology course this semester. This course is part of the Information Technology Cluster and the first course in the CyberSecurity pathway. I look forward to a great year and I'm thrilled to be a part of Burke County High School.

Course Description:
This course is designed for high school students to understand, communicate, and adapt to a digital world as it impacts their personal lives, society, and the business world. Exposure to basic knowledge in hardware, software, programming, web design, IT support, and networks are all taught in a computer lab with hands-on activities and project-focused tasks. Students will not only understand the concepts, but apply their knowledge to situations and defend their actions/decisions/choices through the knowledge and skills acquired in this course.
Employability Skills:
Employability skills are integrated into activities, tasks, and projects throughout the course standards to develop the skills desired by business and industry. This will include occasions where the student may be asked to wear Business Dress or Business Casual attire.
