									These creative assessments will be graded on effort, creativity, and completion. Your final product must reflect that you have put forth the appropriate time and effort to earn the full 100 points. (This is a summative assessment)<br>Due: March 4, 2020<br>PROJECT  OPTIONS:<br>1. Dramatic Interpretation (may be done in groups of 2-3 or solo): Stage a scene from Romeo and Juliet. You will act out the performance live for the class or film it and play it for the class. You must use props and costumes! You may not read your lines from a script. Each person must speak 15 lines from memory or more. If you are acting with a group then each person is responsible for their 15 lines.  If you are reciting a solo performance, find a monologue or soliloquy of at least 15 lines.<br>2. Soundtrack- create a soundtrack for Romeo and Juliet. Create a CD or collect songs on a flash drive that reflect the mood/tone of each significant scene. (Minimum of 10 songs for the entire play). Create a playlist that tells the song title and explain WHY this was chosen for a specific scene.<br>3. Obituary- Write an obituary for the four characters that lost their lives in Romeo and Juliet. <br>4. Graphic Storyboard- Create a graphic storyboard for Romeo and Juliet. This must include at least 10 drawings with captions. Present to the class and explain.<br>5. Diary:Create a diary for 3 major characters from the novel. The diary should cover the 5 days of the play.  ( A total of 15 entries)<br>6. Essay: Write an essay explaining who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The essay should be written in an argumentative format and include evidence from the text to support your conclusion. The essay should be at least 2 full pages typed. <br><br><br>All projects must be presented to the class. You will have 20 points deducted from your final grade if you choose not to present. <br><br>
