Woodham, Kelly » Biography

Greetings! I am pleased to be part of the Burke County family.

My family & I are from Florida. I have two adult children, Edward & Rebekah. Edward graduated from Davidson Fine Arts and then from Georgia Tech. He now lives in Atlanta and is a CPA, as is his wife Melissa. Rebekah also graduated from DFA, went to Atlanta College of Art, where she received her BA. She then went on to get her Masters in Architecture from Georgia Tech. She now lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband Vikram Sami, where both of them are licensed architechs.

In Florida I taught 3rd grade and middle school Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. I moved to Augusta in 1998 where I continued to teach middle school Science & Social Studies. I was given the opportunity a few years ago to transition into teaching high school Environmental Science. I must say that I am blessed for this option. After teaching 25 years, I am still enjoying my choice of career. (By the way, I am a Gator, having graduated from University of Florida with my Masters in Education)
My class schedule for all of my Environmental Science classes is as follows:
1st period-7:50-8:49
2nd period-8:53-9:47
3rd period-planning
4th period-10:49-12:06 (lunch 11:18-11;40)
5th period-12:10-1:04
6th period-1:08-2:02
7th period-2:06-3:00
