Lunch Intervention

Lunch intervention is the effort to help struggling students by giving them resource time during lunch their break.  Students will spend half of their lunch period receiving resources to help them achieve academically.  The resource can range from quiet time to finish homework to tutorials targeting specific subject.

Students who need help may be identified by a report in PowerSchool, by a teacher, administrator, parent or by the student personally seeking help.  Many times teachers who have struggling  students will create and maintain a comments section within the grade book to help administrators decide which resource is appropriate.
